As most followers of this blog will know, our HotWax Systems team regularly hosts local day-long volunteer Apache OFBiz community day events. We are proud to belong to the OFBiz community.
Apache OFBiz Community Day: June 18, 2016
On the third Saturday of every third month, our team joins forces with OFBiz experts from around the globe for a worldwide OFBiz community day; a customer-driven development process to improve the open source ERP platform.
On Saturday, June 18, 2016, our team participated in a very successful global OFBiz community day. During this event, 41 participants closed 26 issues and provided patches for an additional 81 issues. In addition, two of our OFBiz Committers (Mridul Pathak and Pranay Pandey) were listed in the top 5 most active subversion committers on Saturday.
Food, fun and camaraderie
There was plenty of good food and camaraderie as well. Members of our HotWax Systems team in Indore, India cooked and served a delicious menu on-site that included:
Breakfast: Idli Sambar and coconut chutani, Watermelon
- Lunch: Pav-Bhaji, Misal Pav, Aamras, Pulav, Namkeen Paratha, Salad
- Evening Tea: Cold coffee with ice-cream.
Participants agree that it was a fun and productive event, and are looking forward to many successful events in the future.
