Jacopo Cappellato, CTO of HotWax Systems, is scheduled to share “The State of Apache OFBiz” at ApacheCon 2015. HotWax Systems is a 2015 Silver Sponsor of the event, which will be held in Austin, Texas, April 13-16, 2015.
Apache OFBiz is an open source product for the automation of enterprise processes that includes framework components and business applications for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. Mr. Cappellato’s presentation will provide an introduction to OFBiz, its history and its community. It will also summarize the main areas of recent developments, where the project stands today and where it is going.
Mr. Cappellato is a member of the Apache Software Foundation and a committer and chairperson of the Project Management Committee (PMC) for the OFBiz Apache project, in which he has participated since 2003.
