Scalable Enterprise Solutions

What we build with Moqui

Build Custom Enterprise Applications

Build a bespoke ERP using a unified data model and pre-built services tailored to your workflows. Your platform adapts as your business grows without costly code rewrites. Gain complete source code ownership with zero recurring per-user license fees, while automated event rules and custom transaction services scale with your operations.

Core pre-built business engines ready to configure and scale:

Order Management
Inventory Management
Fulfillment & Routing
Warehouse & 3PL
Procurement & POs
Return & Exchanges

Multi-Tenant SaaS Platforms

Ship commercial products with built-in multi-instance provisioning and isolated customer databases. Scale SaaS applications with a consistent, reliable architecture.

AI & Agentic Workflows

Connect AI agents to business applications through REST APIs. Extend existing services and workflows without rebuilding your core systems, with secure access controls.

Enterprise Integration & REST APIs

REST APIs, webhooks, message-based connectors link Moqui to storefronts, ERPs, WMS, payment, shipping, and data warehouses. Composable and MACH architectures are a natural fit.

ERP Augmentation & Microservices

Extend NetSuite or replace a rigid SaaS tool with a focused micro-application that solves a specific bottleneck. No re-platforming, no disruption to what already works. Most engagements start here.

PROOF AT ENTERPRISE SCALE

HotWax Commerce is our omnichannel Order Management System, built on the Moqui Framework and Mantle’s data model. It runs in production today for Steve Madden, Gorjana, Perry Ellis, and ADOC, integrated with Shopify, NetSuite, POS, and shipping gateways.

Smart Routing Every order goes to the store or warehouse best placed to ship it
Unified Inventory One live view of stock across warehouses and every store
Ship-from-Store Any store can pick, pack and ship online orders
BOPIS & BORIS Customers buy online, then pick up or return in store
Split Orders One order can ship from several locations at once
Carrier Rules Picks the cheapest shipping option that still hits the delivery promise

Peak season runs on the same system as any other day. No separate setup, no rewrite. Moqui handles the data, the logic and the integrations. It does the real work here.

Frequently asked

Moqui questions, answered

Yes. Moqui and Mantle are public domain under Creative Commons Zero (CC0-1.0), with a patent grant. No license fees, no seat costs, no usage limits. You can embed Moqui in a commercial product, fork it, or resell what you build on it, with no attribution required.

Moqui is a rewrite, not a fork. Same architectural lineage, but lighter, with a tighter API, one consolidated data model, and built-in multi-instance provisioning. OFBiz has the bigger community and far more ready-made modules. Choose OFBiz when those modules fit. Choose Moqui when you are building something custom. We work with both. See our Apache OFBiz development and consulting services.

Usually not, and we will tell you so. Most often, your storefront and finance system stay where they are, and we build the order, inventory, and fulfillment layer between them. That is where the pain usually sits. A full replacement is a much bigger conversation.

Months, not years. The data model, service layer, security and REST tooling already exist before we start, so we are not building foundations. We pick one process that hurts, put it in production, then expand from there. Be skeptical of anyone promising a full ERP replacement fast, including us.

Yes. We take on existing Moqui systems for support, maintenance, performance tuning, upgrades and new features, including ones built by other vendors or your own team. You get a named account contact, not a ticket queue.
